Just travelin' through...

Any members from North and/or South Dakota, or extreme southern Minnesota?

It appears in June that my better 2/3s and I will be taking two of our grandkids out to see Mount Rushmore, and one never knows whom one might bump into on a trip... .

Thanks! Maybe for the grandkids and my wife, but my bad back and knee would not allow such frivilous activity!!!

Way back in the 70's we camped in that area and haven't been back since. It'll be interesting to see how the Crazy Horse monument has changed since then. (More commercialization, I suspect... )

In addition, we plan on showing the grandkids the Badlands and Mount Rushmore. And, of course, the infamous Wall Drug! " YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!! FREE ICE WATER!! WALL DRUG! ONLY 600 MORE MILES!!!"

We've also camped 2 times at Devil's Tower.

Our kids are now out on their own, but as a family we camped in 32 states and in 3 Canadian Provinces [Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia]. My wife and I have camped in a few more states since the kids left.
