Do a quick search of the site and you will see many; I mean many discussions about 303 Protectant. A lot of members of ROC also swear by it.

Happy truckin'

Re: 303 Aerospace Protectant for Interior.

Now I found it. I initially searched for just “303” and didn’t find anything. Now that I search for "303 Aerospace Protectant" I get a lot of hits.

Sorry for the duplication.

If it is the 303 Protectant you also use it on leather. But make sure its not the 303 Fabric Guard thats for cloth type seats or carpets. The 303 protectant can be used on the leather seats as well as door trim vinyl ,rubber dashbord.

Re: 303 Aerospace Protectant for Interior.

The thing about 303 is the UV protection. Nothing can top it and that is very important - at least it is here in Texas where the brutal sun can play havoc on leather. The label says it is approved for leather as well.

Our seats are coated or "treated" leather, not natural leather as was the case with auto interiors many years ago. I suppose some exotic cars and a few Euros are still made with natural leather but most modern vehicles use "treated" leather. If you have natural leather seats, I would not use 303 but rather some real good conditioner products such as Leatherique or Lexol. These products are made to "feed" the leather through absorbtion. The very reason "treated" seats are treated with a vinyl like protectant is to resist absorbtion. Therefore, the leather conditioners will loose a great deal of their effectiveness if they can not penetrate to the leather itself. Some will get through but if the "treated" leather is doing its job, it will resist anything going down to the leather itself, whether it is good for it or not.

Re: 303 Aerospace Protectant for Interior.

Ah yes, 303, I swear by the stuff. First weekend of ownership for EVERY vehicle I have ever purchased is spent applying 303 to the entire interior and all door seals.

My dad works at a boat dealership in Florida, and I have been around boats my whole life, so I know what the sun can do to non-303'd surfaces.

I apply it fairly frequently to the dash, say every 3 months, and the dash on the vehicles I get rid of look as new as the day I drove them off the lot.

I found it on sale at a local boat place for $4.99 so I bought 3 bottles (all they had in stock.)

Re: 303 Aerospace Protectant for Interior.

I'm new to ROC, I'm picking up my 2007 this upcoming Sunday so I decided to check out the site. I thought I'd put in my two cents:POR 303 works great. You can also make a solution of 50% POR to 50% Distilled water and use on tires. I use this mix on my show car and gives the tires a great look.

303 also works great on vinyl tonneau covers, which get a lot of sun exposure.
