Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
Hi Raplon...sorry to hear that your experience with their customer service didn't go so well. I'm fortunate that I live in Hawaii, we have a Wet Okole location here. They were very professional and took care of all my concerns without question. The installer accidently poked a hole in one of the rear seat covers, they sent it back to be repaired with no problems. There were also a couple of places where the fit was a little baggy, they sent it back and had it adjusted too. I've had Wet Okole covers on four vehicles, and this is the first time anything had to be sent back. I guess the covers are only as good as the person sewing them. Everything fits perfectly now and I couldn't be happier.
As far as the black headrests, I just asked if it could be done and they told me yes...I believe it was an additional $40 to change the color, and another $40 for the half piping on the seats, which include the piping on the headrests (I think you have to pay for the half piping in order to have the piping on the headrest). They even gave me all four of the original charcoal headrest covers (also piped in charcoal). I'd say their customer service in Hawaii is excellent! ![]() |

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
Good luck Raplon! They should be able to do it. I used to have a Mini Cooper S, and got the idea for the black headrests from another member on the Mini forum who is not located in Hawaii. He must have ordered online or by phone. Here's a pic I borrowed...hope he doesn't mind.

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
Raplon...and anyone else thinking of ordering the rear seat covers...I just thought I'd mention that the rear seat backs are pretty difficult to install. The rear seat bottoms go on easy...but the rear backrests are a whole different story! The backrests are held on by stretching over all sides and tucking in...it has elastic like a car cover or a shower cap would. But it's hard to tuck in at certain spots like the top of the backrest which is flush against the back wall of the cab. It might be easier to remove the rear seat, put the cover on, and reinstall. In any case...I gave up after 5 minutes of trying for fear of tearing the cover. These covers are pretty tough, but I didn't want to chance it. So, I took it back to our Wet Okole location and let the installers take care of it. They have a special tool of some sort that they use to make the tucking easier. Even then, they accidently poked a hole in the cover...but they sent it back to be repaired and now it's perfect.
Sorry for the long post...just thought I'd share my experience. |

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
I bought mine from, and had them installed, at their Costa Mesa store. Front seats only with rear pockets on the backs. All gray to closely match OEM on rear seats. After a year and 32K miles they look like new. Excellent covers and excellent service. I got what I paid for and didn't try to get them to throw in any specials at no additional cost.

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
Thanks for the heads-up about the rear seat covers.
I was not going to get them anyway not much wear & tear for us with the rear seats. I was concerned about that drivers seat. I got a wear spot on my 2000 3.2 TL & I had one on the 94 ACCORD EX I had with leather seats, I did not want this to happen with the Ridgeline. I still have not installed my WetOkole seat covers yet. I Vaccumed the inside of the truck for the first time since we got it. I also cleaned the inside of the 3.2TL & the old 89 Buick Lesabre The Buick was dirty & I have not touched the inside of the TL in months. I will get the covers on the Ridgeline next week. I have to get the truck ready for the long trip to the St. Louis Meet in about 3 weeks.

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
FTM1...I think you're gonna love these covers once you get them on. The front seats are easy to install. I think the hardest part was tucking in the sides nearest the center console...you have to pass the straps between the seat and the center console, while also trying to get them between the seat and the plastic bottoms of the seats (good luck if you have fat fingers
). Just make sure that when you put the straps in their final positions, it doesn't get in the way of any of the seat tracks or mechanicals for the power seats. I've never had them on leather seats...I'm interested to see how well they stay put on leather. With the cloth seats they don't move at all.Post some pics when you're done! |

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
I got mine back in 06 black with blue inserts. Love the way they work and feel. I lost a buckle when installing them. It is still in the truck somewhere but after 18 months I given up. I called them and within 1 week they sent me 4 replacements of assorted sizes. NO CHARGE.
They are not cheap but the best quality of any seat covers I have ever seen. |

Re: Lets see some pics of your custom wet okoles seatcovers?
Just got my Wet Okoles seat covers. It took me about 30 mins to install and only had a bit of trouble installing the driver side bottom of seat cover. Unless you have small fingers it is some what frustrating getting the side strap between the seat and plastic. Besides that in my opinion best seat cover I've ever owned. I could not post the two pics I took as I'm not good when it comes to computers. If someone is nice enough to explain I'll be glad to post them.
