Tray under back seat.... (pics)

I did have our car seat in the middle/back seat and the stroller folded up beside it.. BUT I decided I needed room for another person.. So I built a tray to go under the back seat.. So I could have room for four adults and the baby again.. I took all of my stuff out of the trunk and fit it in here.. Here are some pictures.. The box is 44" x 8" x 8"

I'm sure it's cheaper to build yourself, but Honda also sells an under seat storage system.

I like homebuilt stuff. You did a nice, neat job.

The OEM Honda tray only comes in gray, which is no use to us folks with beige interiors. Yours isn't a bad match.

(Dang! I haven't had to pack a stroller in about 20 years...)

I had some old 1x6 deck board left over, sliced it up and screwed it together.. Covered it with some interior carpet that I had left over from the console of my bagged Toyota.. And viola... I may eventually get one from honda.. But I like mine for now.. Thanks for the complements..

Nice work... Great way to recycle left overs.... I noticed that it does not go across the entire area. Did you build it so you could throw it in the trunk if you had to?

No, I made it shorter because that is all of the wood I had left.. I had a 48" piece and a 89" piece, and one scrap 16" piece.
