Re: Better interior storage design than a Ridgeline?

I was amazed, when I traded in my Ridgeline, how much stuff I got out of it! The trunk and cab were packed.

I had to sort through a lot of my stuff and what I was going to keep in the CR-V. I sorted through my tools and as much as I could to try to keep a lot in the CR-V. I did have to remove a toolkit, and greatly downsize another. I did manage to tuck quite a bit away.

Re: Better interior storage design than a Ridgeline?

People use cup holders for a variety of reasons, even! an ashtray! not me however. My issue with cup holders is that I had four in the front of my TITAN, two in the center arm rest, and two on the center bin on the floor that folded down. It was excellent for my morning Starbucks due to the low CG limiting it from spilling thru the top hole. With the RL I have to hold a napkin on the top as I drive to work (partially because of the crappy roads where I live) to keep the RL coffee stain free. Additionally, I have a RAM mount in the other cup holder for my XM.

Personally, every storage bin is an invitation to put somthing in them. I could survive for probably three days (well shaven I might add) with all the crap I've stowed in my RL because I can. I would prefer a couple of drink holders on the ground as well like my TITAN.

As for what people in Europe do? They're idiots and they eat really wierd food.

Cupholders for other accessories

The Ridgeline is my husband's truck, but I ride in it when we go on trips. I have an XM radio that's set up in one of those cup thingies, I didn't "install" it in my car specifically so we could use it in the truck for trips. Well, we do need more cupholders in the front, because in the desert southwest you have to keep water/pop handy at all times AND I want to listen to the XM all day on trips.

We drive from Phoenix to a high mesa in northern New Mexico, where we camp on 20 acres we bought a couple of years ago. The Ridgeline is fabulous for camping, it would take a lot of writing to discuss all the great features that we use "out in the woods." Everything from water hauling to washing dishes on the tailgate, keeping all the groceries inside the truck (away from varmints), security using the trunk. I'm always amazed how much stuff we can haul back and forth in the truck. But I would like 1-2 more cupholders in the front for accessories, to keep DH from whining about no spot for his water bottle.

When I asked my Swedish co-worker why, he replied thata vehicle is not a dinning room, makeup room, or conference room.

Tow cup holders in the front and four in the back aren't enough (For a five person vehicle)?

Edit: Sorry Eagle wasn't picking on you. I was reading the past posts and cam across your after I posted my cup holder rant
my dads 1993 benz has no cup holders and its an S class, and the ridgeline is much bigger then his car

A coin holder with slots for quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies would be nice. The armrest cubby in my truck is covered with pennies...
