little square plug

I have owned my Ridge for a couple months now and one item is driving me nuts. Anyone know what the square plug is in the middle of the dash near the windshield?

Re: little square plug

You haven't read your owner's manual. It's in there. Did your truck come with one?

Hi breiman - I could be mistaken, and some of the others here I'm sure know for a fact, but isn't that the light sensor? Someone shed some light on the subject!

If the black colored rectangular button thingy (This is its official technical name ), it is the light sensor used in the RTS and RTL A/C system.

Re: little square plug

On you model it is just a cap. On other models with auto a/c it they would have a sunlight sensor in that location.

Let's keep this thread light... we don't want a sensor of what is here...
