Put one bike in the back seat area. The wheels rest in the 'track' where the seat legs go when folded down.
When I take more than one bike, I use the bike rack that goes in the hitch receiver.

Re: bikes in the rear

As advertised... my full size mtnb fits snugly in the rear. Rear tire in the "track", rotate front tire to wedge against the pillar and it doesn't move.

Re: bikes in the rear

When I have only one bike, I carry it in rear. I use bungee cords around the post and onto the Ridge seat support. For more bikes, I carry in bed with Performance bike rack - I added fork thingy so I can carry 3 bikes that way.

Re: bikes in the rear

I've put a bike back there before, my mtb is too big and have to take out the front wheel, the mtb is too big even with the wheels turned.

Re: bikes in the rear

I can't get either my mountain bike or road bike in the rear. Both are too big. I have a 20mm through-axle in the front of my MTB, so I haven't tried to get it in without the front wheel because I'm too lazy to take it off. The MTB also has a very slack head tube angle which makes the wheelbase even longer. I ride a size-large. I can't imagine how Skywalker got that Rocky Mountain in the rear unless maybe it's a size-small cross-country bike.

Re: bikes in the rear

Yup, without the front tire on I can get two road bikes inside the back.

I ride a large (19" frame) Azure, and it fits just fine in the back.
