Re: sheepskins for the ridge?

daskraut, be aware that sheepskin covers on your seats could interfere with the side airbags deploying. The side airbags come out of the sides of the front seats, and any type cover could affect their deployment. The bags could possibly blow right through the covers, but I decided to NOT take that chance. For a while, I had sheepskin covers on the front seats of my '03 Accord. Really liked them, but I took them off because of the side air bag considerations. Perhaps some other members can address this issue to let us know if it's a true worry or not.

However, if you do want to go ahead with the sheepskin covers, check Sam's Club. They have some very nice ones, and the price is great.
