East TN/Western NC Mountains

Just wondering if any ROC’ers will be in the East TN/Western NC mountains early next week? Monday afternoon I will be on the Cherohala Skyway, http://www.cherohalaskyway.com/ , Joyce Kilmer National Forrest, http://main.nc.us/graham/hiking/joycekil.html , Tail of the Dragon, http://www.tailofthedragon.com/dragon.html , and on to the Smokies by way of the Foothills Parkway, http://www.southeastroads.com/vsr/fhp_main.htm . Be in Pigeon Forge shopping at the Outlets Mall on Tuesday, wife’s idea!!! Wednesday morning we will be in Cades Cove, http://www.yoursmokies.com/cades- cove.html , and home by 4:00 PM. Let me know if you are going to be in the area and we will try to hook up.

hi just arrived this afternoon was going north from pisgah on the parkway tomorrow but will go south instead maybe we will run into each other brad

Wish I had known, would have met your at the Pisgah Inn tomorrow. My present plans are not to be on the Parkway. Planning to go across Cherohala Skyway to Robbinsville then to Pigeon Forge via Cherokee an Gatlinburg. I will probably leave the RL at home and give the new Accord a try.

Going to the Dragon tomorrow, will go north on the parkway tuesday. From what i have seen the color is peak or close to it.

I should be in Robbinsville about 2:00 if you are going to be on the Dragon then I will go up 129 on my way to Pigeon Forge!!!!
