Starved Rock (IL) Camping Trip

Okay, we have a tentative camping trip planned for this fall at Starved Rock for late October (or November) but I need to know who is interested and what dates work. I'm gone the first weekend in Nov. since I'll be attending SEMA. This could be a FUN, FUN weekend for many. Colin (from EOC) and I are the two starting this idea this point. Any others who might be interested (esp. those who have been to Starved Rock before)??? If you have tips on this park, please post here in advance.

Ive been to Starved Rock maybe 20X, I currently live 10 minutes +\- from Starved Rock.

My favorite trail s the St. Louis Gorge.


I dont think I would come camping, wife is due the 3rd week in October, but I would like to possibly come out and meet the other campers, and I can suggest some places to eat/drink in the area.

we are are interested in your camping trip. Are you planninig on tent, rv or whatever.
You use to be able to take tours of the locks on the IL. River.

It may have to be November (mid-to-late). I'm sorry guys.. my schedule has gotten crazy lately and I have not been able to focus on this like I wanted to. It won't be anything over the top anyway...just a chance for a group of us to camp together.
