I Had to Beat the Hell Out of a Ram Owner Today

Ever since I got my Ridge I've been having problems with other drivers being overly aggressive, Ram drivers being by far the worst offenders; cutting me off, tailgating, shooting me the finger, verbal abuse etc..

Today I had enough, some yahoo in a Ram cuts me off slams the brakes and then floors it. I catch up to him and do the same. I can see he is following me so I pull into a Home Depot parking lot and pretend I am on the phone as he pulls up next to me and gets out. The guy is prolly early 20's and medium build. He starts banging on my window w/a pistol, yelling obscenities. I fling the door open, knocking him to the ground and proceed to kick the living crap out of him. At the point where he is physically unable to stand, I call the cops and an ambulance.

The cops give me a warning but not much they can do considering the guys gun is lying 1 ft. away from his bloodied body and I'm not carrying.

I may just get to like the reaction my Ridge sparks in some drivers after all.

Do us all a favor, do not set the example of being stupid.

1. Be glad he did not shoot you.
2. Good luck in your future legal battles (You'll find that lawyers are the ones to be leary of).
3. If this happend as you say, you escalated the event so you may be held responsible. So be prepared to say hello to your local DA's office, be nice, because they will not be.
4. Count to ten next time and continue to have a great day.

Uh-Huh, Dave do you live in Fallujah?

I'm calling B.S. If incorrect, remember the age old lesson-There is ALWAYS someone bigger, stronger, and smarter. Its a tough one to learn, but quite helpful in prolonging one's existence

Last time I checked, I lived in the United States of America where I can legally defend myself from imminent harm. He was carrying, I wasn't; case closed as far as the cops are concerned.

Dave, I was just starting to like you buddy! Wasn't your other road rage story involving a Ram as well?

Damn...I hate it when that happens!!!

You admitted on this forum that you intentionally and willfully persued and endangered the other driver as well. Did you not? This is not a defensive action. More of a poor descision based on emotion and not intelligent thought or rational thinking. I'm not saying your stupid, but if what you wrote is true. You made a really poor move. Good luck.

Re: I Had to Beat the Hell Out of a Ram Owner Today

Ram owners seem to be the worst offenders. Actually my last truck was an H2. That truck was just too big for daily driving. Going to the Ridge from an H2 is like going to a sports car in terms of handling. With the H2, I got flipped off allot by economy car drivers, Prius was the worst, but I think they were scared to cut me off w/that mass of metal.

Re: I Had to Beat the Hell Out of a Ram Owner Today

This just in!!

I stand corrected... I was just driving back from the quick-e-mart, and a gaggle of ram trucks circled around me. Fast on my feet, I tossed the emergency hand grenades at the devils, as my 8 year old sprayed the burning trucks with rounds from her M-60. Luckily the cops saw the whole thing(And completely understood), and we all joked as the bodies were tagged and bagged.

Look for this story on your local news!!
