Angry Center Console Removal

Could Someone Tell Me Please, How Do You Remove The Center Console. This Is The Console Where The Heated Seat Buttons And The Power Outlets Are. I Am Trying To Install A Switch For Some Fog Lights In The Blank That Is Between The Two Heated Seat Buttons. I Was Able To Get The Console About 2" Away From The Rest Of The Dash, But It Looks Like In The Area Behind Where The Not An Ashtray Drawer Is, There May Be A Screw Still Holding The Entire Console To A Metal Bracket. After Pulling On The Console A Bit The Metal Bracket Looks To Be Bent Out, And The Console Will Not Reinstall Tight To The Rest Of The Dash. Help, Please.

Hey CarsMark...

Try this link:
http://www.handa-accessories.com/rid...ckupsensor.pdf

This is from H and A Accessories website. It's the installation procedure for the back up sensors, but it shows removal of the lower center console.

Good luck!!

Re: Center Console Removal

It very easy to remove the "NAA". Just open it and then pull it out and up. The first time may require a little force but it will come out. And then, behind the "NAA" there will be a single screw. Take that out and all should be well. The one thing that concerns me is it sounds like you bent something...if that's the case, you're in a bit of trouble. Hope things work out.

Re: Center Console Removal

Bongus, Thanks Also For The Information. The Only Thing That Is Bent Is The Metal Bracket That Screw Is Attached To. I Just Have To Bend The Bracket Back Straight. No Biggy.

You have another problem. Every word you type begins with a cap. Please fix it.

Geez Hoffffffam, you and Artegee can shake hands. I didn't know that we had two linguistic PhD's onboard the ROC to help us with our english language studies.
