Cool Bug Guard and cabin filter

Hello all,
I'll be buying the bug guard and filter soon. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations to a brand of each.
Thanks

Re: Bug Guard and cabin filter

I got my bug guard from Burtman Industries. Jason is great to work with. Look for them under Sponsers. Filter you could get from H n A in the same area.

Re: Bug Guard and cabin filter

I purchased my bug shield from the dealer. I am very happy with the factory shield. It was an easy install, it has a center support that double side tapes to the hood.

I purchased Honda's bug shield. It is pretty easy to install and looks real nice. I like that it has Honda's logo impressed in the plastic on one end.

Re: Bug Guard and cabin filter

I purchased the OEM bug sheild from an online dealer and installed it myself in about a 1/2 hour. It looks great on my truck and you hardly notice it since they are both black.

Re: Bug Guard and cabin filter

Here's a thread with a lot of information about the cabin filter. I think the OEM ones are insanely expensive.

Clean or replace your own cabin filter, improve air flow & save a bundle

Re: Bug Guard and cabin filter

Just remember that the hood deflector A.K.A. bug guard does not do a great job of keeping the bugs off the windshield. Anyway that what I have experienced with my dealer installed hood deflector. I got mine to keep the hood from getting rock chips.

Re: Bug Guard and cabin filter

i like the clear one from wade (nulime.com) and paint it the same color as your truck , that way it blends in and u dont see it that much and still have the rock chip protection( i personally dont like the tinted ones unless u have a black truck , they r sort of like the bra to me on any other color)
