Unhappy Tornado Damage on Ridgeline

Hey Guys!
My 2006 Black Ridgeline just weathered the Tornado in Caledonia, MS. You might have heard about it. It threw a SCHOOL BUS up on top of the school! But nobody died so they just touched on it on Good Morning America for a few seconds.

Yeah, so anyways we have damage over the entire vehicle, in a hit and miss fashion, cracked windshield, hail damage here and there, and scratches from shingles flying by, etc...

Overall quote averaged 4000.00 or so, but the guy I liked was going to repaint the entire vehicle in his quote of 5300.00. His MOTO is "Good work isn't cheap but cheap work isn't good" and he comes highly recommended by my Honda Dealership

The insurance company says that the entire vehicle doesn't need to be repainted, and I think is insisting that they will not pay for an entire paint job.

but there isn' t a peice on it that didn't see some type of damage, scratch, dent, etc...

What do I need to do? Raise 10 circles of hell until they get sick of hearing from me? I'm sorry if this sounds anal but this is a Black vehicle and it was sharp pre-twister and I expect it to be sharp after the work is done and I am going to be super pissed if I can see on my door where only 10 percent of it needed to be painted and there is a noticeable change in the tones in black paint where it was touched up.

I'm a graphic designer and I can see color nuances, just from my everyday experience and I know that I'll catch crappy results like that.

Woah, sorry I got long-winded there

Later!

Re: Tornado Damage on Ridgeline

Scratch it up some more and go to the insurance company and tell them they missed a spot.

Re: Tornado Damage on Ridgeline

My 2003 Suburban was in the parking lot of my office when it was it by a tornado, the passenger window was blown out and the one thing I found over the following year was the number of little pits on the paint on the passnger side of the truck. The amount of dirt in the tornado sand blasted the side of my truck, but my insurance claim was only for the window and the truck was "champagne" (gold/sand) in color so it was nit noticeable unless you really looked at it.

Closely inspect the sides and top for small chips in the clearcoat/paint - I suspect you can find some.
