Soundgate, where is the cheapest place to get it?
Looking to buy a Soundgate to connect the Harman Kardon Drive+play.

Where should I look to get the best price?

Or, are there better alternatives to the Soundgate?

I think most places offer it for around $114.00

that is what I paid at Soundgate.

I just posted one for sale over in the trading forum. It's like new, works fine, but I've decided I want to keep my factory XM installed so I took it out and put in the Blitzsafe. $80 shipped.

Without you giving more specifics for your application I think the Soundgate might be the wrong solution.

Why do you think that is the best bridge to the Drive&Play?

I haven't installed a Drive+Play but it will output to RCAs won't it? If so that would be better quality and cleaner than FM modulation, even wired FM mod I would think. But, that's just a guess on my part.

Now you know the Soundgate won't work with XM and your RCA/miniplug player, right? Why do you think it will work for hwycycle's RCA/miniplug application?

Yes, a direct connection is far superior to FM modulation.

No, the Soundgate is not the right tool for this job.

It will work if we're not interested in XM. Otherwise it's not the right choice for this job, correct.
