The reason I say that isn't because of the sound. That's an SPL setup. It's all wrong for good sound. What I mean is, that you bought a full custom show truck. It's value is in the fact that it's a full custom show truck. I'm sure you can find a compromise setup that keeps the custom look, but if you needed a daily driver, this wasn't it. Good luck and keep this thread going with your mods.
No, the value is a 2006 RTL with only 3,800 miles for just over 21,000 dollars. The bonus is a beautiful paint job and an incredible sound system that, when not turned up high, produces some of the best sound outside of a my Bose home theater system. And you're right, this won't be a daily driver, but it will be driven and used.
Besides, what's the point of having a nice ride if you don't fiddle with it and make even more personal. While I'm limited on what needs to be done for this truck, there are things that will done (trailer htich and wiring, bed cover, hard or soft I haven't made up my mind, a few under the hood modifications and of course, reworking the back seat to make it more user friendly while retaining the concept already installed.
For now, I'll be removing the 22"s that came on it and putting back on the stock wheels. The 22's will be put up for sale and replaced with someother custom rims, probably 20's, in colors to complement the paint job. Despite my purchase, I'm not big on a lot of bling.
At that time, I'll try to get some good pictures of the airbag suspension so if anyone's interested in doing it themselves, they'll have an idea on what they're dealing with.
BTW....I've checked out some other Ridgeline clubs and this seems to be the best one out there.
