It all depends on your relationship with your dealer. I would suggest that getting this mod completed for you should be one of the things you "negotiate" during your RL purchase.

I'll bet if you tell the salesman that it's a dealbreaker if he doesn't include it then they will get one for you.

i hope so, i think im buying it from a honda dealership that my dad knows the GM and some other guy that works there but these flip keys are expensive

Neh, there really not that expensive. Theres only the cost of the key to them which they'll probably get at cost as a favor to a fellow auto worker, then they can have some tech in their service dept do another favor and program it wich takes them all of 15 minutes top and have one of the parts counter guys just cut it while he's standing around doing nothing but waiting for the next customer, all they need to do is press a couple buttons on the cutter, insert the key and they can walk away from it until it's done.

When compared to losing a deal on a vehicle (and it seems sales are a bit slow right now) they'll likely go the extra 2 feet to take care of it. I've had them do much more than that to sell me a car in the past.

i just called the local acura and the 35111sep306 is 77.50.

they didn't even show the alt part 35718STKA01 in their inventory as a valid part. came up as a bad number.

Anyone want to order one for me? lol

The part number is actually 35118-STK-A01

the only uncut key on ebay that is a 07 tl key is 77 bucks... not really cheap in my book.

im trying to make this key work with the remote start, since i didnt change the face plate thing i still got the trunk button, i just cant find the program switch
