First MOD Help

I'm knew and i really want to do something with my Ridge. I wanted to add something with an aux input so i can play my IPOD. Now i know many have mentioned the USA SPEC but i recall seeing a pic of someones ridgeline that had a input aux between the heated seats switches. I want something like that or even replace the HU Like something like this http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...p=5684 &avf=N
or http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...p=5684 &avf=N

the only problem i have with those is that i dont know if i would need an amp to run the factory sub which i don"t want to do cause of my wallet.

If there are any other issues i may have please let me know cause i am new and i doubt that i would know anything.

Thanks yall

Re: First MOD Help

The picture that you saw of the AUX input placed between the heated seat switches is attached below. The parts needed to do this are fairly simple, I do regret that I only took pictures of the finished product. This stereo jack input is wired into the RCA inputs on my USA Spec iPod adapter. I really only use my iPod in the truck, and I was concerned that constantly charging the battery and never allowing it to discharge could affect the life of my iPod battery. My solution was the stereo jack you see in the picture. It allows me to run the iPod through the USA Spec and into the stock headunit without having the iPod charge.

Re: First MOD Help

Nice. Thanks for the reply. What products in tools did you use? How much did it cost you?
