INFINITY System on my YEAR OL' RIDGE

Hello everybody!!

I thought the guys that worked on my RIDGE deserved some credit and promotion as to show how much hard work and time paid off.

Installed below are 2 10' Infinity SUB's w/ a 4 chan. AMP and 600watt MONO AMP in a custom box insulated with some fiber glass....

**also hidden some 6 1/2 mids, a ROCKFORD FOSGATE 1 pf capacitor and a 3sixty signal interface processor**

All in all I think they did a great job...

oh yeah, excuse the mud...we got hit pretty good with some snow...

Now THAT is a good-looking installation. I doubt I'll ever upgrade my RL as I'm mostly content with the factory system after adjusting the treble to +100% and the sub to +50% to attempt to compensate for the disappointing EQ job that Honda did (or did not) do.

But, if I ever wanted to add some mind-numbing bass, I'd definitely consider your addition as a likely candidate. That is the cleanest, most efficient install I've seen thus far.

It's nice to see the system from an EYE view, but it's even better when you actually hear my system. It took a little time and patience to get to where the system is now, but it was all worth it.

I spent $3,300 initially and then I paid for the signal processor because I was running off the stock NAVI/CD PLAYER and it wasn't pushing out the power I wanted. The bass would drop after the volume hit a certain point but after the 3sixty signal processor was put in, it was all worth it. I could adjust the bass whenever I want to.

Re: INFINITY System on my YEAR OL' RIDGE

Kudos.. Great looking system..

A few questions

1) Who worked on your system?
2) Do you have pics of the fiberglass fab? If yes, please post.
3) Do you have the 3sixty.2? If yes, did the time delay feature make a big difference?

Again, nice looking system, personally, I like the electronics behind the seat so its VERY difficult to steal.

Take care.

My dog's would have a field day with those, I can see it now (cringes) possibly a roll cage with wire mesh. Anyway it looks great and I'm sure it sounds fantastic.

Thank you, thank you...I'm very satisfied with the work they did. As for the creative individuals who worked on my RIDGE, that credit will go to the GUYS @ BESTBUY.....I know I know it doesn't sound reputable...but I'm glad they did it. SHOOT, there's a lifetime warranty on the installation and I purchased a 4 year warranty on the parts. The guys at BESTBUY actually have the pictures from start to finish, let me get at them and I'll post them once I receive them. I do have the 3sixty.2 and that upgrade makes a whole a$$ load of a difference....I don't even notice a time delay in the eq because of the control knob....I compensate for needed base or if I don't care for it by MAXing it out or leaving as be.

Once again, when I get those pics I'll post them...It's a great thing to look at, I saw them...

Until then.

Re: INFINITY System on my YEAR OL' RIDGE

How do your subs sound? I just installed me JLW3 under my seat, facing upward, and I cannot seem to tune it properly. I hear a lot of crackling and popping. Thanks!
