XM to Sirius on Ridge with NAV?

I know it has been on here before but I am looking for any updates. I have an 08 RTL with NAV and I really do not like XM at all. I had Sirius in my Pathfinder and I have a lifetime subscription there (and prefer that programming much much much more).

I want to retain the NAV head unit and have the same functionality (artist name displayed, channel name, etc). Is this possible? The whole reason I got the RTL was for the NAV so I am not yanking that out. I'm loathe to go buy a portable Sirius thing but it may be my only option.

Have all the vendors abandoned Honda because of the supposed merger that seems like it will never happen (and from a technical perspective, it wont happen until Q4 of this year at the earliest)?

Re: XM to Sirius on Ridge with NAV?

I like the 80's, 90's, country and comedy, and I don't like Howard Stern... so I am going to have to say XM is > Sirius.

Not that is matters after the merge.

I think you can change the brains of it all and go to sirius...not 100% sure though.

I am so glad this finally arrived! I have been waiting. My XM subscript runs out soon and I will be getting this installed. I had my Sirius stuff stolen and with the merger XM and Sirius both said have the XM activated in the truck and after the merger goes thru all the sirius content will be available to me...

Looks like that wasn't and won't be anytime soon. argh

Woohoo! Where did you order it from? I want to get it asap. Also, once you get it installed let us know if the display works like the XM display (audio channel name, artist, etc).

Thanks
