I have the USA Spec hon2 with hybrid unit and a gen 5 ipod no nav and absolutely no issues. eazy to install and work - I do not like the hybrid mode and use the direct.

Please excuse the ignorance here guys...
Not familiar with the USA spec. My new 08 RTX has a button option for XM/Aux, just as does my 07 Civic SI. The SI has an input, but I can't find one on my RTX. I guess this is what the initial question of the thread is? |

Yeah, you wont find one on your RTX. That is the RTL only. Go to USA Spec or search USA Spec on the forums of this website. There is plenty of information regarding its advantages/disadvantages.
