How tuff is it to remove or get behind the radio

I am considering of getting one of these ipod interface moduals, how tuff is it to get behind or temporarily remove the radio. where do I start- I'm mechanically inclined-just haven't had to install anything behind a dash before.

It is easy to get in there. I bought a USA Spec Aux input from Crutchfield and they provided excellent instructions. You can also visit H and A Accessories dot com - Genuine Factory Honda and Acura Accessories at discount prices. Accessories made by Honda and Acura for your car (a forum sponsor, I believe) and check the pdf installation files for OEM products they sell. These files are a good resource when you want to take something apart.

So easy, you can do it blindfolded.

The hardest part of the process is undoing all the electrical connectors.

It may be a bit easier if you put the transmission selector in a different gear than Park. Of course make sure your vehicle is secure before you do that.

Re: How tuff is it to remove or get behind the radio

I noticed the clips in the dash and I was wondering how they release. Is there an appropriate method. The reason I am asking is because I broke one of the clip plastic holders when removing lower instrument panel cluster to install the trailer hitch. Not wanting to break anymore.

Thanks, Brad
