Factory Auxillary Input MP3 Help

I have a 2007 RTL with nav and the factory auxillary input above the dash. What do I need in an adapter or cable to plug in my grandaughters Samsung T10 mp3 player?

The jack is an 1/8" stereo jack. I don't know what the Samsung has on the other end, but most of them have the same thing. If so, you need a simple 1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo cable, like this one:

RadioShack.com - Portable Music: Accessories: MP3 player accessories: 3-Ft. 1/8" Stereo Plug Cable

I would also add that the 1/8" stereo jack that Shovel is telling you about is the same jack that's on the end of most of ear buds and many headphones these days. You can prove that by turning off your truck (just to be safe), and plugging in your headphone/earphone jack into that aux input. You won't hear the ocean or aliens or anything I'm just demonstrating the size of the jack.

Hmm I wonder if you plugged your ear-buds into the aux and put the ear-buds in your ears if you would be able to hear yourself thinking?

By the way, once you get the correct cable and everything plugged in, don't forget to turn the volume up on your mp3 player 2/3rds or so (not full blast) and then control the volume with your trucks volume control. If you turn the mp3 player up to far, you will get distortion. Good Luck!
