Question Radio Code

Does anybody know how to determine the anti-theft code for your radio?

Thanks for the help

Re: Radio Code

From the Honda Owner Link website:
"If your Acura or Honda came equipped with an Anti-Theft radio, you should have an Anti-Theft Radio Access Card in your glove compartment. This card contains the access code and the serial number of the radio. If you do not have a card, contact your dealer for assistance."

And once you find it, sign up for the Honda Ownerlink and put it online so you know where it is (if you unhook the battery for any reason, you need to put it back online, but you probably already knew that).

Your dealership may also know the code.

Re: Radio Code

Thanks- I found it in the pile of paperwork in my glove compartment.

The dealer didn't go over anything with me when I bought the truck. Now I want to add some accessories and the first thing it says is to "Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio..."

Sorry, I'm kinda embarrassed it was so easy.

Re: Radio Code

I put it in my cell phone too so I had it with me. I've had to key it in 3 times since I've owned my Ridgeline. That's on my list to check into when I do my first service.

Re: Radio Code

Ridgeintheville- why so many times? dead battery? short circuit? or unknown- just put your key in and no radio?

Just curious... so far no problesm like that for me, but I'm a newbie.

Re: Radio Code

Blackout, That would be answer "C - unknown". I've put my key in and started up and up comes the screen to key in the code. I haven't been in yet for my first service and plan on having the look at it then.

That happened to me once. Hasn't happened again since and I forgot to have it checked!
