Looks like enough room for a custom enclosure for 2 proseries 10" subs.

Jl Stealth Box

It is official the JL Stealth box is out for only $599 retail. I am so happy I built my own box for a fraction of the price

Good news. I just received an e-mail stating that the Stealthbox you inquired about, is finally ready to ship. The price has been determined to be $599.99, and it will be available in 2 interior colors. Because of the vehicle/color specific nature of these enclosures, we need a deposit before ordering. Our hours are 9:00 to 6:00 - Monday thru Friday.

Thank you,
Audio Logic

Re: The Next SubWoofer Enclosure

For just a little more money than the JL stealth box you could get the alpine LAT system. I have heard it, but the audio shop had it hooked up poorly and it was far from reaching it's potential. Here is the LAT system. http://www.alpine-usa.com/en/product...hp?model=PLT-5
And it has a built in amp. I almost asked if I could take it out into the parking lot to see if it would fit under my rear seat, but since I really wasn't going to drop that kinda cash to get a sub when I already have a JL 12w3v2 (that needs a home in my RL), I didn't.

Re: The Next SubWoofer Enclosure

I think JL didn't build a box for the factory location because they don't have a driver that would work well. Just looking at their website, the only driver that has a chance of working (due to depth constraints) is the 6W0. They could have used two 6W0 in a sealed box, but is that worth a JL kind of price?

Hoffman, I agree with your assesment, but the one they built isn't worth the price. They probably spent a ton of money on r&d and missed the boat. Not sure they would have been better off with 2 6w0's but would definitely been recieved better than what they did build based on the fact it would be stealthy.
