Help...locating the Speed Signal Input

Anyone out there had success finding the Speed Signal Input? I'm not sure this is the correct term but I'm in the process of installing a AVIC Z1 and there is a pink wire that needs to be connected to the Speed Signal Input. Pioneer describes this connection as, "The mobile navigation system is connected here to detect the distance the vehicle travels." An help with this would be greatly appreciated. Also, if there is any thing else I should be aware of before I tackle this project...fire away.

The other term I've heard is Speed Pulse Wire.

Do a search in this forum for "VSS wire", bongus - many of us have installed aftermarket GPS units and connected to the VSS signal. Easiest place to find it is behind passenger-side kick panel; you'll find threads with very detailed information on exactly which wires to use. Good luck, enjoy the Z1!
