Single din replacement?

I see all these posts about double din replacements and all of that jazz but i'm not looking to spend that much and haven't been able to find a new dash for a single din stereo if anyone could help!?

You can get one on ebay, search for "ridgeline din", it is a Scosch which is the same as the double dins mentioned here. Also, you can go right to the scoesch website if you are not an ebay fan.

It is black like all the double dins mentioned. May or may not be a problem for you.

I have the Scosche single DIN adapter kit and in my opinion, it is not up to standard. Scosche is considered one of the better brands for aftermarket kits, but I think they missed the mark on this one. The American International adapter kit is actually a single DIN with a pocket or a double DIN. You can even use it as a single DIN with an ISO mount below. Anyway, I don't think there is anything on the market right now that looks good without some modifications. Metra has one listed for the Ridge, but no pics.

I have the American International dash kit - which is what Crutchfield included with my single DIN Alpine. I'm not impressed with the dash kit - it leaves a gap between it and the pocket below. It will do for now though....
