Driving Light Mounting bracket

I'd like to mount some fairly large Cibie driving lights leftover from past rally days in front of the grille on my RL. The upper portion of the bumper in this area is just plastic.

Has anyone mounted driving lights in this location without the brush guard, etc? I'm curious what kind of mounts are used to tie into the lower area where there is actually some metal. So far I have had any good inspirations for a mount design.
