Climate Control

I think I'm about to buy an RTX. The only feature in the RTS/RTL that I'd like is the auto climate control. Has anyone tried to replace the non-auto system with the auto system??? Would it even be possible???

This question has been asked for lots of different models. The simple answer is: Yes, it's possible. The realistic answer is: It's not worth it. You'd need to rip the dash apart and add several components including the biggie - changing the entire wiring harness. You're talking over $1,000 if you bought the components new and hours and hours of labor. Even if you could find a donor RL to get all the components from, there is much more to it than simply changing out the climate control head.
