Re: problem after lift kit
I think it goes beyond alignment. What is causing the alignment to be out so much? I just don't know enough to help. The axle alignments and cv boots were my issue.

The rim shop who fitted the new rims and aligned the truck could not get the rear alignment right without the adjustable links..

Re: problem after lift kit
GOOD news
Everything is OK, the shop make the alignment for the secong time and all the alignment are in the spec. At the first time the tech take the wrong spec..... My RL is like new but whit 2'' more inch height.....Finaly i love the feeling, all is the same as before. Thanks all RL members. RL ROC on........... ![]() |

I´ve jus had that same problem as fredyboy: VSA light on when turning, the tail of the truck moving out of the curve. After the installation the rear wheels were 3 degrees out of specs. once aligned the truck feels just like new. please advice me with 2 issues.. is it really a need to change the swaybar links? the skyjacker instructions recommend to re-torque all nuts and bolts after 100 miles. that would need again to go over the painful installing process again. is it really necessary? what have you guys done? |

For me, the garage machined the front sway bar link for they are more longer. For the re-torque the guys tell it's not verry necessary in ordinary use (no off-road). Enjoy |
