Well, the Honda shop is repairing my Ridge and I’m driving a really nice black civic for a rental car / door sill delivery truck & school bus and just got home from my shop with Jon’s two front sills, dbb’s cup holder cover and the new black wrinkle finished door sills for everyone to evaluate. Lemme know what you think of the new finish. Thanks guys.

Love the black finish! Once we get the design finalized for mine, I want em in black! In fact, since the words don't want to line up right, lets keep it simple. Just center the Jaguars logon on each sill and call it done!

Jon, Your new front sills are inbound to the powder-coaters today along with “DBB’s” cup holder cap.

Tony, the “DBB” plate is for a member who has invented a cover for the cup holders on the end of our center consoles. I had to “Cut into” the door sill production line to accommodate David cause he’s waited the longest. (Thanks David) The two flat head holes are to mount a pair of short plastic “cups” to the bottom so the cover stays in place.

Pizza-Man, All of the exposed aluminum areas must be clear coated to protect them from the elements. Would you like your set in black too?

The last photos is the license plate surround for my son's 06 Si. Yeah, I know we 've gotta make one for the Ridge too!!

My new civic rent-a-car is a blast!!! Still missing my truck though.

LOL! True... but we tried, and just can't get the words to look right, so my options are:

1. Forget the whole thing

2. Go with just the logo

3. Drive Ron insane.

While I have to admit that option 3 was mighty tempting, it looks like we will have to settle for option 2.
