Thumbs up Re: Added some door sill decoration.

With such a whirlwind weekend after our return from Waikiki we finally had the time to carve the long awaited custom door sills for Greg, Dmitriy, Jimmy and Alan today. I will apply the 3M Adhesive tape and carefully package them for shipping on Monday.

We’ll be in Pomona for the “Sport Compact World Finals” this Sunday so we hope some of you ROC heads slash Car Crazy folks can come out and share a cold one with us.

I like the Panama example as it goes basic graphic details.

But, the example I'd like to see you had some reservations on because of the copy-written nature. I'd like to see just a movie style (www.transformers.com) Autobot emblem (I'd even MAIL a couple to you to use for examples) on the front door sills, and only that, and the ROC logo for the rear.

Just an example?

If you have the line art for a particular logo you can email it to me or post it here on the door sill post. I can fiddle with it this week at the SEMA show when I have some free time.

Here's a finished photo of Jim's sills done especially for his dear wife Jan.

The Triple Chrome Plating is really catching on as I think these are now the fifth set done in this finish. I'm thinking black chrome is the next new wave.

I am hopeful to have my system back online to run production on the brushed satin finished blanks, the Panama and Russian engravings and to finally get to carve a few cubby covers this weekend.

Here is the first eval for Chris on his design example. Lemme know what changes are required Chris.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

After getting my system back online late last Friday we had our machines cutting sills both Saturday and Sunday. Here are rickir007 and Ben Cook’s finished pieces. They’ll be on there way to clear powder coating along with Twintym’s radio plate. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hey that is awesome. I cant wait to get them on my truck. Your work is great. Folks here are going crazy here in Afghan asking for them. But I let them know they need the secret ROC hand shake for that.

Hi Shovel,

Not much to look at really as it’s on its way to get clear powder coated before a final brush. Dan’s Sony X-plod amp mounts up top and the single din head unit fits in the rectangle below his company logo. This plate covers the area where the OEM unit now resides above the kitchen cabinets in his new travel trailer. If you’ve seen the plastic radios they put in campers now days you know how crummy they look and sound. Dan’s revamping his camper with higher end components and a humongous flat screen. Now we be campin!!!
