I would like to add my thanks for this post too. My ride has 17k on it and I dont think it had ever been cleaned out. I think a small tree fell out of it when I pulled it out. I would also like to know where you got your cover for the storage unit over the glove compartment?

Hi drimel, small tree?!? Hehee, sounds like you found this post just in time! The dash plate (cover) was sold by Brain of BasicKoncepts which is still listed as a ROC vendor.

Drimel, I don't know if Brian is still making the face plate. I'd guess it was one of the casualties of the production crunch he got into. You could try sending him an email to see if he has any that are already made up that he'd be willing to sell.

5Sdude, it may be time to go back to the drawing board to make a dash plate for people who want to cover up their cubby holes.

neat tip but,

for me the approx $70 for the dealer to do it was more than worth it. 20 mins of my free time is worth well more than $70.
