Re: Clean or replace your own cabin filter, improve air flow & save a bundle

swampler,

i dont make close to that per hour, but I have so much other stuff to do around the house with a new baby on the way, and almost an acre to mow by hand that I have no time/interest to do anything that can be easily knocked out on a visit to the dealer.

either way its all good, just giving a perspective from someone who has no desire to tinker with their truck.

My cubbies store a bunch of little stuff for me too, but it's all covered up with our dash plate.

Back to normal again, enjoying the full force of our AC!
The dash plate looks nice, where did you get it? Sorry, I saw where in later posts. Too quick sometime.

What a great post!!!!! Do you think a Home A/C filter could be cut up and substituted for the $40.00 one Honda sells???

Save a lot on your cabin filter replacement

Here's a link for a replacement filter for $8 - $12. I bought the $12 one and the quality is better than the original, in my opinion. When I got it the box said it was for a Honda Accord, but it fit perfectly. Does anyone know what year Accord has this filter? I would love to buy the next one locally and save the trouble of ordering and the cost of shipping.

Yea, but he does it at work so it doesn't count. Work seems to be the only place he isn't busy and gets some time to relax.
