Re: "I need 2 more inches..." That's what she said.
I have a vehicle lift at my shop. I raised the Ridgeline up 2" more than what I have currently, just to make observations.

I also found these 1" spacers... I might try them out as well if the diameter of the springs can be matched.
Belltech Sport Trucks Spring Distance Spacer Kit Additional leveling kit possibly? Belltech Sport Trucks Leveling Spacer Kit I may just have to make my own set. Last edited by 2point6 : 04-27-2008 at 04:55 PM. |

LOL, I laugh everytime I hear that part of the TV commercial. If it last four hours I'm NOT the one that will have to go to the hospital! She is. ![]()

Re: "I need 2 more inches..." That's what she said.
I went out on a trail today for the first time with my brand new 2008 RTL. It's the old Trabuco Creek road that leads to a good hiking trail. It's about 5 1/2 miles of dirt/rock road. Probably too much for a standard car but definitely not for just 4x4's. I was surprised to find that I hit the bottom a few times on relatively minor protrusions. I've driven this road many times when I had my Jeep without bottoming out even once. Now I'm not a serious 4wheeler but I'm wondering if the Ridgeline can take even minor rated trails. There is a fairly good standard that the 4wheelers use for rating trails. Has anyone actually tested their Ridgeline to it's maximum capability and if so what would be the rating?

Re: "I need 2 more inches..." That's what she said.
Admittedly, the Ridge isn't a serious 4-wheeler.............wasn't designed to be, I don't think. But it'll do a pretty good job if you know how to drive the trails. Many vehicles will handle typical "Jeep" roads if you know where to point them. Experience is a wonderful thing!!!!!
