Its built by Nissan so are they just reskinning a Frontier the way they do a Ford Ranger to make it a Mazda B Series pickup ?

The article pretty much says that the Suzuki will be based on the Frontier.

We can't be snooty, though, because a Passport was a rebadged Isuzu Rodeo with a Honda motor & tranny & Isuzu "skinned" the 1st generation Odyssey. (If memory serves, the inimitable & unlamented Chevy LUV was an Isuzu...)

Ugh. This gives me only one degree of separation between Chevrolet & Honda. I think I need to go take dramamine...
