D-Day the 6th of June
Even though it is not an official flag day; I will be putting out my flag first thing in the morning to honour all those that contributed to the liberation of Europe during WWII. Those that gave the extreme sacrifice and those that returned deserve all the thanks and recognition we can give them!! Without the events of that day our world today would be ruled by the axis powers!! Join me!!

I saw on the NBC evening new that the "youngest receipent of the Medal of Honor" died to day. This man was 17 when he got the MOH. Youngest soldier in history to receive it. He dived on TWO genades to save his buddies, and endured over 20 operations to remove the shrapnel. Thank God, he lived to be 80 years old. He lied about his age to enter the war. So many have given so much. Anything we can do to honor them is blessed. Thanks 25YHO for posting this.
