Pics in and out of the Ridge

I recently took some pics around the firehouse in which I work after dressing up Black Beauty. These were taken the shift before I left for St. Louis. The thing I love about these pics is that the subjects of the pics are reflections on my Ridge. I hope you enjoy. Note: the last one obviously was taken of my Ridge and not a reflection.

The aircraft I saw in the pics were the F/A-18 Hornet, the recently retired F-14 Tomcat, and what apears to be a line up of DC-9's. The question still stands though Justdeefire; What the heck do you need that to fight a fire for?

Re: Pics in and out of the Ridge

Those are some of the aircraft that we still protect or used to have to protect. Very good MikeT in recognizing the aircraft. Reaffirms that the products I used to make her shine had the desired effects.

Re: Pics in and out of the Ridge

I recently retired from an AFB in Tennessee. We had the following on static display: F-105, F-4, F-15, F16, and a Navy F-14. I had the pleasure of working with setting some of the aircraft on display.

Re: Pics in and out of the Ridge

I have been on and in an F-4, F-15, F-16 and F-14. I have no idea how to operate them but I do know how to shut them down in the event of a crash. The only thing is though usually when a plane crashes their isn't much left of it to even have to worry about knowing shut down procedures. Job requirements! LOL
