Interior lighting control...

Wondering if there is a way to adjust the dash lighting so the radio/climate control displays are the same intensity as the instruments?
If I dim the intruments to where they are comfortable for long distance driving at night, the radio and climate controls are almost unreadable. The climate control is the 'dual' system with the digital display.
The instruments are a bright white type of light whereas the radio/cc are a warmer yellow lighting.
Seems strange there is no consistancy in the form of dash lighting?? First vehicle I have seen this difference in display illumination.
Anyone found a work around?

Not that I know of. Unless, of course you have the "aux" jack and then it's a piece of cake.
I have the same problem with reading the radio/cc readings at night.

Re: Interior lighting control...

Not to hijack my own thread...but I have been looking on ebay, (since H&A won't ship to me here in Canada...) and from what I read the 'I-Pod' attachment has RCA accessory jacks included.
Does that mean I could use the 'AUX' function on the radio that way? I should be able to plug the XM that way, plus if I ever get an I-Pod I would be already for it, .
