cant get xm code from radio

i push the xm button to try to get channel 0 for my radio code, but nothing happens. followed the owners manual instructions but still nothing. i hope someone can help. i just dont have much time to go to the dealer. thanks

Did you try pushing the fast-forward button (far right) until the screen reads "Channel-0 ?" I recall that is what I did when I registered mine.

Depending on the trim level of the Ridgeline - you may not have XM. The radio might only be XM - Ready. Look on the roof near the very back. If there is a little bubble about the size of a fist sticking onto the roof, you have XM. If not, you would need to purchase the XM kit and have it installed at additional cost.

Ahhhh. yes that would be the problem. mines an 07 rts and theres no bubble on the roof. thanks for clearing that up for me.
