They specifically said "two of us went for a drive down a bumpy road and there were no rattles" B.S!!!!! The second I leave the dealership...what's that I hear....oh yeah...IT"S RATTLES!!!! I called them back and go through the same story "we can't duplicate the problem" Why is it these techs can never duplicate the problem , yet EVERY SINGLE TIME i drive my RL, it rattles like hell? I told them it's in the door panel somewhere and you'd have to be deaf to miss it. Now I have to go to the dealer again (40 mins away) to take them for a drive. I know they'll hear it with me driving but it's just annoying that I have to waste even more time driving there and back when I have much better things to do with my time Anyone else have this problem? I know ppl have dash rattles but I haven't seen anyone w/ door rattles.
You need to see the service manager and demand a tech go with you for a test drive to duplicate and verify so they can't say its not there...Tech's don't like to do warrenty work cause it does not pay well..In fact they loose their asses on it..You think a tech is going to drive your car around for a hour looking for a noise when he ain't gettin paid for it? Probably not.

I have to go back about my drivers seat moving. I told them you won't feel it driving around the parking lot.

Re: Annoying door rattles!

I have the same problem! It is starting to drive me crazy! It comes from inside the driver's door. I think I will pop the door off tomorrow and see if I can fix it

Jimich - Let me know if you find out what it is. I haven't looked at mine yet. I even asked my buddy who is one of the managers at a local Honda dealership and there are no bulletins surrounding the matter.

^^ Same as tool..........I'd like to pop off the panel. How hard is that? Probably should get some spare clips just in case.

Re: Annoying door rattles!

Spare clips are 99 cents each. Get a KTC panel tool set. Cheap imitations are just that.

Re: Annoying door rattles!

i have a few annoying rattles as well. mine are originating from the 'oh ****' handles on the passenger side and the rear drivers side. both are very loose.

they look like they are made to break apart or something, but these things are extremely loose with large gaps where they should be flush with the truck.

is this a common problem?

Re: Annoying door rattles!

shovelhd--what is a KTC panel tool set and where would I find one? Sounds like it will make the job much easier. Thanks in advance!
