Thumbs up Very Positive Dealer Visit

I had the AM radio crackle fixed and the transmission PCM update and window washer reservoir low-level sensor replaced. The plastic trim around the lower portion of the drivers seat was broken and needed to be replaced. The dealer ordered all the parts prior to me bringing the truck in which I thought was awesome. After the repairs I totally expected that the headliner and interior trim to be misaligned and look really bad. I am very picky about the way things look. I have to say I was really impressed the way the technician put things back together. What impressed me the most was the service advisor told me that the trim piece that was ordered for the seat had a hairline crack and he didn’t want to use it and ordered a new one. He told me if they put in on it would fail after the warranty period has expired.

The transmission PCM update fixed the hesitation issue I was having when slowing down and accelerating. It defiantly changed the shift points. They had the truck all day and even washed it for me when they were done. This was a very positive experience for me at a dealer. I would recommend them to anyone. Just wanted to share this with all you ROC heads.

How many miles are on your truck?

Was this covered under warranty as well? One my rear passenger door panels got a scratch and it's disturbing me.

Re: Very Positive Dealer Visit

Oz, it's nice to hear something good for once about a dealer service visit.

I'm glad it worked out for you!

Re: Very Positive Dealer Visit

I was really concerned that the door panels and headliner would be all messed up after that. The service adviser told me the tech working on it is very good and really careful. I have to say I looked for anything I could find that was out of sort and I could not find anything. The most important part is the radio is fixed and now I can listen to the Red Sox on the am band without having all that static.

Re: Very Positive Dealer Visit

One of the very few advantages of living out here in Western MA is that we get the Red Sox station on FM.
