With only 2800 miles, I've yet to have any issues. I don't think that I'm the greatest source of data because of my limited miles.

Maybe this applies to cars with 30k+ miles, but at 8K.. no problems at all. It looks like the two posts concerning engine problems (sludge) were 2006 models. Could it be first year issues?

No one defined "engine" so this is my experience that includes the things directly attached to the "block" and/or controls and/or monitors the moving parts within or outside of the block....

Needed to burp the coolant and fill to the correct level... Cold temperature start-up squeal; fixed when I switched to synthetic... The computer program for the coordination of the engine and transmission was reprogrammed...
