Non-used Rear passenger hand assist grip
While cleaning up the interior of my '07 RTX, I noticed the right rear passenger assist grip handle was loose. This handle is never used as my only rear seat passenger is my 4 year old (spoiled little thing isn't he?) who enters from the left side rear passenger door. He sits in the center of the rear seat on a booster seat.
The loose handle caught me off guard. I grabbed it to pull myself in to the rear seat area to do some cleaning. Thankfully, It didn't "let go" and plant my rear end firmly on the garage floor. I removed the plastic bolt cover from the handle and low and behold, the bolt was almost completely out! A quick trip to the toolbox yielded a socket set and eventually an 8mm socket. This quickly fixed the problem. Just wanted to pass this on in case anyone wanted to check theirs. Troy |
