99% of that $90/lb price was all taxes. From what I understand now, it is over $100/lb even if you buy it in bulk.
Chris, after all the conversions and in the end, R-12 was and will always be the "better" refrigerant as far as efficiency and molecular stability goes.

Re: Air Conditioner stopped working

Cant recall exactly what it cost at the time, a long time ago, but pretty sure I paid ~$60 for a 30lb cylinder way back when you could get them at CostCo or was it Price Club at the time?

Re: Air Conditioner stopped working

I own a '08 Ridgeline, took delivery in middle of Feb. First hot day today, air doesn't work. You mean to tell me my compressor is shot before I even use the air once? Never had an issue in any of the 6 Hondas I owned before. I must be the luckiest person on earth!

Hello, I'm new to this forum, recently a Benz owner but moving to a new house soon, therefore, I need a truck for moving in and buying stuff for the house.

I just bought a used 2006 Ridgeline with little over 36xxx miles, went pick it up drove home the air condition was working fine. Drove it for couple of days. It was fine, than went to the insurance company, register it, walk out start up the car. The air condition doesn't work anymore. The fan not even blow. It was 100 degree out side. Drove home in the heat. Damn, I though Honda was reliable??? What happen with Honda these day??? Now I have to wait until Monday to get it fit. Does anyone on here really know what the problem really is??? Thanks for the help in advance.

Grab your manual and check your fuses.

With 3 years and 36,000 miles on the truck has the cabin air filter been changed yet?

Oh... and welcome to the ROC...

I'm not sure, but I think more likely not. Anyways, I took a look at the fuse but everything look fine to me. I try to open the glove box compartment to access the cabin air filter, took the two side hook thingie out but no luck access to the cabin air filter. Any more ideas that I can try???

There is an piston arm holding the box up. Pop the receiving ball out of the holder hook and the box will go all the way down. The filter costs about $20 atr the dealer so go buy one and install it to be comfortable it is new.
