It seems to be more towards the center of the front axel. I am going to see if I can talk the service manager into going for a run and see what he thinks. |

I had the same problem - Ice builds up on the center drive shaft support and the drive shaft rubs against the ice and make sthe noise. Like the other members note climb under there and knock the ice off - if you don't the ice will scrape the paint off the drive shaft or damage the shaft support.

I did eventually take it to the dealer and they said that they removed the pan that covers the driveshaft and gravel had made its way in there. That surely cant be good for the driveshaft. Too make me feel better they said that it was the first time they have seen it. Mind you they could be feeding me a line but it is way better now.
