What's this?

I noticed a chunck of metal has broken off the underside of my truck in the wheel well area. I don't recall any event that would have caused this to happen. Could it have come from the factory that way? Any ideas. I haven't run it past my dealer yet. I'm sure theve seen it I've had my tires rotated several times.

Re: What's this?

Looks like possibly RUST, or damage from the space barnacles. Didn't know your Ridgeline was a deep space explorer did you? Must've crashed down to Earth with the other Autobots in preparation for the sequel to the live action movie coming out next year.

Re: What's this?

honestly, im having trouble seeing the perceived problem

perhaps a shot from another angle would help?

I see the area your talking about(center of pic) but looks more like a dent than a missing chunk

Re: What's this?

That is a broken flux capacitor mount. Do NOT attempt time travel until you have addressed this problem, otherwise you could experience severe space-time variations in the thermodynamic equilibrium.

Re: What's this?

To my knowledge, there isn't a metal part in that area that could be broken off. Is it the front wheel well area, or the rear? Looks more like some rust-through in the undercoat. If that's the case, you can buy undercoat spray at most any LAPD (local auto parts dealer). If it's just rust, buy a rust neutralizer (LAPD will have this), and after you've use that, spray on the undercoat.

If you really do think something has "broken off", check with your dealer.
