2007 Hitch install changes?

I am installing a tow package on a 2007 RTL. The instructions are for the 2006 which say that there are 2 relays while mine came with 3. There is room for the extra (2 total) relay on the dangle, under dash harness. I know that the other relay goes on the relay block. There is also an extra 4 or 5 pin connector taped to the 10 pin connector. Does this get used? Thanks

I think the 3rd relay was added to the '06 around August/September last year. The other connector is the brake controller pigtail, I believe.
