The trailer company said there was no way they would recommend the Ridge towing something that heavy. The install guy wouldn't even recommend using his Cherokee with 5500 lb towing capacity. Result = gave up on the idea of using the Ridge as a tow vehicle and opted for a small tire trailer and removable hitch on the S. Good stuff but the preferred would be to use the Ridge.

Thoughts?
Those people don't have a clue! I've been towing this Airstream since last October with no problem.

Non-Ridgeline owners don't have a clue what the truck can do. They assume it can not do most things because it's a Honda and not a traditional truck. Heck, even most sales-people/dealerships don't know the features either.

If you follow the general consensus of what you read here, you should be fine.

Thanks everyone for the input...both on the towing situation and of course any time we can talk Danica is good. Making an offer on a trailer now. Not in a big rush to get one since I don't track often but we'll see. At least I know if I do become more serious I have the truck to back up the hobby.

Re: Ridgeline's can tow (photos)

I have towed my V-12 Jaguar around Florida to several Shows, this vehicle has a weight of 6400lbs. I do not know the weight of the trailor I borrow. I take my time and I know that Florida is flat, but I have not had a problem with towing.
