Roof Rack Installation Question

I posted here too since I saw the heading listed racks.....should have looked closer the first time.

OK. I have searched and read about hauling a canoe on the Ridge and I think the best route to go is add the Roof Rack. We go up to Grand Marais, MN a lot and we want to go up into the BWCAW for some day trips off the Sawbill Trail and the Gunflint Trail.

I can then get a buddy to make me the piece that fits in the receiver hitch after I get one of those extenders for the hitch. Or would I be better off just buying one? Anybody have info on these they would like to share? I need to get the extender cause I will also be pulling a pop up camper.

If I get the Roof Rack from H and A Accessories for $236.52, is it hard to install? I looked over the PDF and it seems pretty straight forward. Is there anybody here who has done this and what they experienced?

Any help would be appreciated.

I just ordered one today. When I get I will let you know. It looks pretty striaght forward to me though.
